Loren Britton is an artist and curator based in Kassel, Germany. Britton’s work explores the transformation of form via linguistic devices. Britton’s work is in relationship to the non-binary body and seeks to reimagine the utopian possibilities of language.
Britton has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions at Boston University in Boston (USA), Scott Charmin Gallery in Houston (USA), LTD Gallery in Los Angeles (USA), Vanity Projects in Miami (USA), Field Projects in New York (USA), Knockdown Center in Queens, New York (USA), Pelham Arts Center in Pelham (USA), Schwules Museum in Berlin (DEU) and Siena Arts Institute in Siena (ITA), and numerous other arts institutions and projects.
Britton has also participated in residency programs at Eastside International in Los Angeles (USA) and Studio Kura in Fukuoka (JAP).
Britton holds a BFA in Painting & BA in Art History from State University of New York at Purchase College (USA) and an MFA in Painting & Printmaking from the Yale School of Art at Yale University (USA).
